Story

I’m making a difference by fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference, and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Excited for our Feast for Freedom!

Wednesday 22nd Apr
We are having our feast on Saturday night. A group of good old friends are getting together (after quite a few years) and we are all looking forward to seeing each other - and eating some of the yummy recipes from the ASRC 2026 Feast Recipe book. 

Thank you for the opportunity to have our Fest, get together with good friends, art the same time raise funds to make a difference for some of the most vulnerable people in our wonderful multi-cultural city of Melbourne,
