Story

I’m making a difference by fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference, and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

And just like that - we reached our fundraising target ($750).  We are still taking donations for ASRC though, so keep them coming.

Feasting for Freedom at Able2

Friday 27th Mar
We held our Feast in the Able2 forcourt yesterday.  Great sunny day for it.  Terrific company, conversation and delicious food.  2026 Feast done!  We're still taking donations and VERY close to our $750 target.
