We’re back at it this year to raise some funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
It’s our annual tradition to host a Feast for Freedom, and to gather people we love in solidarity and commitment to community.
The world is a bin fire, and in times of such horror it’s more important than ever to be loud about our support for those seeking refuge and asylum, and our outrage at our own government’s complicity in the wars and genocides that have meant they have to flee.
The ASRC provides people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and we’ve been inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar we raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
