Delicious Food & Fundraiser for Refugees on Sunday 19th April 2026 at 12pm

I’m organising a  fundraising lunch for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this with a friend Susan, by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. 


We  will be cooking Palestinian and Lebanese recipes. Some dishes will be made entirely from home grown produce. Every dollar we  raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum. No doubt we will be seeing thousands more refugees this year with the ongoing genocide. 

The event  will be held in the Excelsior Hall , Thirroul Library. Opposite the Thirroul Railway station. Please RSVP so we know how many people to cook for. If you are unable to attend, please make a donation to help us  reach this goal.
