We humans are in desperate need of love, kinship, and connection.

In a world that often feels disconnected, it's crucial that we rehumanize our fundamental ways of living. We must support the vital work of organizations that are dedicated to keeping humanity alive.

The Asylum Seekers Resource Center (ASRC) is one such organization here in Australia. Every day, they work tirelessly to ensure that the lives of refugees and asylum seekers are met with dignity and compassion.

That's why this year too, Naysa, Shiv, and I are coming together to host Feast for Freedom at our home. Our goal is to raise $2,500 (and hopefully exceed it!) to directly support ASRC’s critical initiatives.

How You Can Help:

  • Donate: Your generous contributions will go directly to ASRC, helping them continue their essential work.
  • Join Us: We have 15 spots available for those who want to join our feast - a night of food, connection, and community; on Saturda, April 18, 2026 (details to be provided on signing up).

We will cook food from recipes lovingly shared by two refugees - Noha from Palestine and Nige, a Sri Lankan Tamil. 

We are excited.
