Our story
Hello,
We're making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
We're doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and we are inspired by multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion and the amazing work that ASRC provides. Every dollar we raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Nakita has been a volunteer cook with ASRC since early 2024 and is committed to supporting their efforts to enable and empower refugees and people seeking asylum to build a life here in Australia. She has extensive experience working at the intersection of food, climate change action, and community building.
Ika is a Rotary Peace Fellow and is in the business of peace building through strengthing policies of government and institutions at all levels.
