This year's Feast for Freedom is hosted by Meg & Merryn! It's Meg's fifth year participating, and she's relieved to finally have a helping hand in the kitchen. Thanks Mez for stepping up.
We are raising money for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre who provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
So here’s how it works – M&M will host a magnificent feast for a tragically small group, who will hopefully donate generously for their meal. Those who we just couldn't fit around our tiny dining table are graciously welcome to still donate to this fantastic organisation, doing invaluable and urgent work on the ground each and every day to help new refugees in Melbourne.
You can donate any time from now til the end of April.
This year we will be preparing a feast of Palestinian dishes, as a way of showing our solidarity with the ongoing horrific conflict and devastation occurring.
