Indian feast!

Hi everyone! I've dropped the ball a little this year with work commitments but, I've signed up to host a Freedom Feast again this year!

I thought I'd make things a little more interesting this time- an Indian cooking class! I've scoped out a commercial kitchen for hire and will cover the costs of the venue hire and ingredients. All you have to do is come and enjoy! We will learn to make Indian breads- atta 3 ways, along with a simple Pulao and an easy beginner-proof curry (requests welcome and dietaries provided for)! I will also hand out recipes so that you can recreate the items at home. Date TBD based on availability of the venue.

If you'd rather a food item- I will be making Indian 'dukkah' (gunpowder podi; not spicy) with gingelly oil for your platter needs.

I request people donate straight to the donation webpage. I ask you to use your judgement, however, recommend that the lessons are around $80 (a bargain by today's standards) and the Dukkah + gingelly oil is $20 (2 separate jars).

Hope you can get in on the fun! Thank you!
