I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Wednesday 11th Feb

This Sunday we welcome you to pull up a chair at our home in Wynyard, share a simple plate of food inspired by Feast for Freedom’s refugee cooks, and hear a little about the lives this meal will help nourish. If you wish, you can make a small contribution toward food, shelter and other vital support for people seeking asylum. Please message either Roland or me if you have not yet received an invitation, and would like to attend.

We also warmly welcome donations to Beatrice & Brum’s ASRC Feast for Freedom here, so together we can help provide practical care and a sense of belonging, and perhaps inspire others to host their own Feast.
