Better Now x lil Shauny Feast

It's that time of year again! Better Now and lil Shauny are teaming up to host their second Feast for Freedom event to support the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.

In case you've never heard of it, Feast for Freedom is a celebration of refugees and people seeking asylum – their food, their culture, their stories and their contribution to Australia's diversity. Feast for Freedom calls for people to gather in their homes, workplaces or communities to host their own feast to raise funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, while cooking recipes gifted by refugees. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal, meet some new people and support the important work of ASRC. 

This year we have decided to host a Colombian feast, using recipes generously shared by Lidys and Jose, as well as a couple from our own repertoire. Our feast will be 100% vegan, with all the recipes that traditionally use meat or fish replaced with lil Shauny's handmade seitan. The meal will consist of an entree, main, side, dessert and traditional beverage. You are welcome to BYO alcohol.

The event location will be in Brunswick East, on the 1/6 tram line. The address will be shared with you after you purchase your ticket.

100% of profits will be donated to ASRC - places are strictly limited so book now to avoid disappointment!!
