We are Harchana and Reveka, this year's Feast for
Freedom Hero Cooks!
Thank you for joining us in this unique celebration that acknowledges the contribution refugees bring to Australia's food and culture, and for raising funds that help the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre provide food, shelter, healthcare and other vital services to more than 7,000 people seeking asylum who need support settling into Australia every year.
By joining the Feast for Freedom community, you are assisting the ASRC in creating a more welcoming and just Australia for refugees and people seeking asylum.
We believe food can build a bridge between cultures. Cooking is our of showing people love.
We hope you enjoy cooking our Malaysian and Venezuelan recipes for the people you love.
We're sharing these recipes as refugees and when you share these dishes with your friends, you will be raising a flag of inclusion and welcome for every single refugee and migrant in Australia.
