Scotts Head's Feast for Freedom! 2026!

I am hosting a Feast for Freedom at the Scotts Head Rec Hut on March 12th 2026. Come along and bring a dish- I have recipes from the amazing chefs at the ASRC- asylum seekers who have kindly shared their wonderful recipes. Or create a dish from one of the many countries our asylum seekers come from.

I’m fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) with the community of Scotts Head and surrounds. Let's help to make a difference in the lives of people seeking safety.

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia. 

Bring food from one of the countries where asylum seekers called home. Be creative with your recipes or ask for one. I have a few. Let's eat together and celebrate what unites us and reflect on the amazing range of cultures we have in this country. All forms of diversity make us stronger (and more interesting).

I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
