One Last Hurrah
Lisa and I are moving to Melbourne in early May. We're going to miss you all. So join us for a little get-together before mountain ranges and airport security separate us.
This party will be a familiar format- a Feast for Freedom! The ASRC takes donations from these events and uses them to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia, including food, housing and health services.
The Feast incorporates recipes from the countries of origin of asylum seekers, and we will also throw in a Peruvian dish or two. Delicious vegetarian and gluten free dishes will be available.
There will be beats and merry. Bring yourselves and drinks. Some bittersweet fruit juices will be provided (among other things). Please RSVP to help us plan the day. +1s are welcome!
