Gathering humanity through food and friendship

Please help us make a difference through fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

Since 2020 we have been hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar we raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Hosting Feasts since 2020

Throughout history and around the world, family, friends, and welcome strangers have gathered around tables to share food, stories, laughter and kinship.  Since hosting our very first Feast just before our first Melbourne Covid lockdown, we now treasure this annual event as a way to find and help restore a much needed common humanity.
