Story

I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

16th March: F4F 2025 Planning is underway

Sunday 16th Mar
After the fun we had last year hosting our first Feast for Freedom - raising funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (https://asrc.org.au/) - we're starting  to plan our 2025 Feast for Freedom: An outdoor lunchtime feast on Sunday 4th May in Greenwich.

The funds raised will help provide food, shelter, health services and more, for over 7000 people seeking asylum who need support settling into Australia every year.  Every dollar raised ensures that the ASRC's programs can continue to support and empower people seeking asylum in their journey to freedom.
