Hey all, it's that time of the year again. I’m participating in the Feast of Freedom fundraiser, for the Melbourne based Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
The fundraiser provides people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
For this year, I am looking to host on the following dates - pending confirmed numbers:
- Lunch on Saturday 22nd - starting at 1pm.
- Lunch on Sunday 23rd - pending availability of guests
- Dinner on Friday 28th - starting at 6pm.
- Lunch on Saturday 20th - starting at 1pm.
