Story

I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

2026 Feast planning is underway!

Saturday 28th Feb
Once again, I will be holding a feast this year to support the work of Asylum Sellers Resource Centre. 

This year, we will enjoy a Palestinian feast! I will be cooking some recipes generously shared by Noha, who arrived in Australia with her two daughters from Gaza in 2023.  You can read more of Noha's story here: https://www.feastforfreedom.org.au/cooks-and-recipes/noha

I would love to welcome you to share in some good food and reflect on how we can support people seeking safety, dignity and belonging in our community.
