I love to cook for friends and family and I'm hoping that by hosting a feast for Freedom I can feed you all a delicious meal and make a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
I have some wonderful Sri Lankan and Palestinian recipes to prepare for you, and of course wine for those who want it!
This is a meal that will make a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Come eat, drink and be merry, and if you feel so moved, please donate what you think is fair to help me raise money for those who have less than us.
