Feasting for Freedom
I’m making a difference by fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference, and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions.
Steve Curry has generously offered his amazing house to host this feast, and we plan to highlight the cuisine of the Middle East where so many people are now suffering unimaginable hardship. Every dollar we raise as profit will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Please make a donation to help me reach this goal. I suggest $30 minimum. Donations $2 and more are tax-deductible.
There is a maximum of 30 people as guests for this special meal, so please RSVP immediately, to help us plan and ensure we have a full table.
