Time to Feast for Freedom!
I'm so excited to be hosting my favourite fundraising event to raise money for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC). This amazing organisation helps people seeking asylum access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
Aside from raising money to support such a worthy cause, I love this event because we get to connect over food and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. This year I'd like to do things a little differently and invite my guests to bring a vegetarian dish that is important to you, your family and/or your culture.
Every dollar we raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
