Crosswalk Melbourne – Feast for Freedom
At Crosswalk Melbourne, we believe faith calls us to live beyond ourselves and to create communities where everyone belongs. That’s why we’re hosting a Feast for Freedom to support people seeking asylum in Australia.
Feast for Freedom brings people together around a table to share meals inspired by recipes gifted by refugees from their own cultural traditions. It’s a simple but powerful way to listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with those rebuilding their lives.
All funds raised will go to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), helping provide essential services like food, housing, healthcare, and legal support for people seeking asylum.
As a community committed to compassion, justice, and servant leadership, this is one way we seek to live out our faith in practical ways.
