Community, culture, safety, and equal opportunity all sit at the top of my values list. As does coming together around a food laden table in pleasant surroundings. So what better thing to do than join the ASRC fundraiser!
I’m hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Please make a donation if you can, to help me reach this goal. And come and join me in my home in Geelong on Saturday 12 April for a feast! A feast for Freedom.
