A bit about the why...
The start of this year has been pretty bleak when it comes to international news, with equity and generosity being abandonned by governments around the world. But what better way to beat the darkness than food, friends and funds?
My small way of doing this is by hosting a Feast for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia, a place I migrated to now 20 years ago. And I'd love to have you along for the ride!
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
