Story

Our Newcastle group, HASA (Hunter Asylum Seeker Advocacy) wants to make a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

We’re doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom, to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference, and we’re including some special recipes from refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions, as well as favourites of our own. Every dollar raised will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Please make a donation to help us reach our goal of $500.

Thank you.
